Cito is more like the Harley Davison type of girl. You do not want to mess with her. Even though she is retired because of an injury, she still is the female boss. Cito is the boss of everything. If I put my mitten down on the grown. You as a dog have to watch out. Cito has a 10-meter circle and if you step over that line. She will warn you with a growl. If you as a dog don't listen and step away. She will attack.
Cito is one of the first eleven puppies to be born into the Team Lewis Family. She's a born lead dog and was one of my best, especially off the trail. She hated it when I put her in the back. When I used to stand in the back of the team. She would walk all the way to the front. Sit down in front of the leaders and look back at me and give me those eyes that said; "I'm supposed to be here, that all the way back there."
I have always wanted puppies to carry on Roxy's amazing dog sledding line. Cito's too. But not one male dog has ever managed to charm Cito into doing what has to be done to make puppies. Any male dog that has tried, gets beaten up. Now Cito is too old to have puppies. I might not be able to carry on Cito's bloodline. But I do have a friend that has a male dog with Roxy's blood. I might not carry on Cito's bloodline but I still can carry on Roxy's. Maybe I'll get a new puppy like Cito?
